Stefan Schmidt   1868-1953

The first child in the family of JACOB SCHMIDT and KATHARINA KROEN is a son, STEFAN, born in 1868 in Limbach. He married ELISE NERAD in 1894. STEFAN SCHMIDT and ELISE NERAD had four children: Julianna, Ludwig, Rosina, who died in infancy, and Theresia. STEFAN came back to Germany with the family in 1946, but his wife was on a different train and was taken off the train when she became ill. She disappeared and was never heard of again.
